Jodi Auerbach is a Certified Travel Destination Specialist for NYC. Her travel planning service is located in the heart of New York City, and is used by customers nationwide and around the world.
When Jodi was young, she always dreamed of living in the “Big Apple.” As a little girl, her favorite game was playing “vacation” and packing her pink suitcase as she prepared for her city adventures. After graduating from college, Jodi fulfilled her dream and made her home in New York City.
Her first job allowed her to travel to numerous cities abroad. Through these excursions, Jodi found her true calling. She not only loved the act of travel, but also the process of planning the trip itself. While listening to her adventures, her friends and family realized that she possessed a rare talent for not only planning and organizing trips, but also finding unique spots to visit. Her trips were always distinctive, fun, and out of the ordinary due to the adventuresome twists that she added to her planned itinerary. Consequently, her friends and family started to ask her to plan their own excursions.
Those who sought her advice would hold tight to her detailed custom itineraries which many of them knick-named “the bible”. On return, they always thanked her knowing that their trip would not have been as special without her suggestions. They appreciated her knack for designing a trip which concentrated on popular tourist attractions, and also the time that she spent adding her personal touch to make the trip memorable and special.
As the demand for her services increased, Jodi decided to follow her passion. As a result, The Well Planned Traveler was born! Although she loved researching places abroad, she realized that the NYC streets that she walked everyday held the best opportunity for her to be an expert to all who visited. The places she took for granted were the same places millions choose as their vacation destination every year.
